The lecture will address some forms of symbolic elaboration of the arrival places where it is possible to find elements of subjectivities, fragments of common use objects or personal documents lost or taken away from migrants. In particular, it will focus on the project of Museum of Migration in Lampedusa. About these experience, we will particularly try to grasp the practices of organization and use of objects, the degree of involvement of the subjects directly concerned, the ideological and political rifts occurred around these projects.
